This Head of Communications (Marketing Campaigns) is for a leading organisation in the not for profit and charities sector based in Surrey/South London (Croydon)


Description

As the Head of Communications (Marketing Campaigns) you will manage a team of 8 covering 4 core elements (PR and Media, Digital, Marketing and Campaigns) to deliver their campaign activity to support their work. As part of the Chief Executives Executive Team, they key responsibilities will include:



* Act as the brand guardian/protection for a new strategy, values and identity as well as oversee the marketing activity to increase brand awareness and income generation.

* Build and deliver the branded marketing campaigns, sing traditional and digital media

* Review and maintain the communications strategy to raise the profile and position as an independent charity

* Lead on the digital communications (including website, social media and content marketing) to deliver the objectives, engagement and income

* Deliver communications activity to oversee national and regional plans

* Lead on financial and budget management for the team and other designated programmes and projects as required

Coach and develop Communications team members, ensuring the team maintains up to date skills and knowledge, particularly in the digital arena


Profile

To be a success in this Head of Communications (Marketing Campaigns), you will need the following:



* Degree educated or relevant professional qualification

* Management level experience of developing, implanting and managing marketing and communications activities, delivering against agreed budgets

* Strong knowledge and understanding of current marketing communications trends, including digital

* Experience of working with digital marketing tools including e-newsletters, PPC, Google Ad- words, SEO.

* Previous experience of acting as a brand guardian for an organisation

* Excellent relationship management skills, including influencing and dealing with senior stakeholders

* Excellent communications skills - written, verbal and presentational
