A market leader Health care business are going through huge growth and now require a Product Manager.


Description

As the Product Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing a vision and strategy for assigned product categories. You will develop and enhance the existing product portfolios and drive innovation to introduce new products which deliver the company's vision and strategy. You will create buy-in for the products both internally and with key external partners, stakeholders and customers.



The role holder must have the ability to demonstrate the company's Vision, Strategy and Values aligned to Determination, Empowerment, Teamwork, Caring, Safety, and Integrity.



Manage the assigned product lines throughout the product lifecycle, defining the vision, value proposition, strategy and roadmaps.



Ensure our product range meets the customer demands, anticipates gaps within the market and leads on innovation.



Gain a comprehensive understanding of the market, industry and customers, to generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.



Develop and utilise a clearly defined concept to launch process to introduce new products to the market. Including a thorough validation process to identify which projects to take forward and which to halt.



Consider and complete health economic evidence where appropriate to support product positioning and promotion.



Assess the requirement for clinical trials and secure and manage these trials where they are required.



Work closely with Marketing and Procurement to ensure all strategies are aligned and delivered

Liaise with the operations functions to ensure the product lines take account of operational requirements and constraints.



Conduct education and training across internal business departments. Develop sales tools and collateral, in conjunction with the marketing team, to support new product launches or range.



Provide support to the sales function to ensure they are fully equipped to deliver the revenue and profit targets against each product line.





Attend and contribute to exhibitions and conferences, gathering valuable contacts, market information and intelligence.


Profile

Several year's experience in a product manager role with a proven ability to manage a broad clinical product range.

Evidenced experience of launching new products which meet agreed revenue targets and growth plans.At least 5 year's experience in a clinical role.

Bachelor Degree qualified or equivalent.
