Hays are currently working in partnership with a leading Public Sector organisations based right in the heart of Birmingham City Centre to recruit an Interim Creative Project Manager.

Your new role

In your new role you will provide overall management of the procurement and delivery of the creative services (editorial, design, print and film) as required by all areas of the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for;

* Design, implement and monitor the working processes and workflow of the Creative Team, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget.
* Oversee the procurement of a range of external resources and closely manage those relationships, taking responsibility for the quality control of their outputs.
* Ensure stakeholders are of informed and alerted on any timing, budget or resource issues.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across the marketing team and the wider business to ensure that all activities are aligned with the overall communications strategy and campaigns, applying production experience and guidance.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have in depth experience in project management within a creative/design or communications environment. You will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to engage and gain commitment from internal and external stakeholders and create sustainable working relationships at all levels.

You will also have;

* Understanding of creative contract management and procurement of external resources.
* Demonstrable experience of organising and managing complex projects and production schedules to strict timelines and demanding targets/objectives.
* Project planning and studio traffic management software knowledge and solutions.
* Understanding of artwork/repro/print/film production/finishing digital processes where necessary.
* Experience of managing and leading virtual teams of both creative and operational staff in a high volume and high quality production environment.
* In-depth knowledge and experience of marketing communications and delivering creative promotions and corporate communications content.
* Experience of managing direct reports to work on various projects with competing deadlines.
* Excellent Mac and PC skills and experience of relevant creative software.
