Grrrreat opportunity for a dynamic, passionate brand marketer!

BEAR is an ambitious young company determined to take a big bite out of bad snacking habits. Grrr. BEAR make pure fruit snacks with no added nonsense that make being healthy a little bit easier and a whole lot tastier. We started out making their tasty fruit yoyos, and now also make Claws (with the addition of 1/3 veg), pure fruit ‘Paws’ for babies and toddlers, and crunchy Alphabites cereal (with no refined sugar or salt). They also make Urban Fruit, gently baked fruit to eat on the go, for the 25-45 year olds who run around with busy lives and find eating a juicy mango on the bus home a bit of a challenge.

This is a unique and rare opportunity for a budding Brand Manager to join the fantastic marketing team at BEAR. They are looking for an International Brand Manager to help expand the brand overseas. You will need to be excited about working in an entrepreneurial environment, be comfortable influencing and negotiating with external distributors, able to strike up positive relationships as well as be ambitious, able to inspire others, and driven by results.

The ideal candidate would have:

  • At least 2-3 years working in marketing, with an ability to think both creatively and commercially
  • Experience of delivering campaigns across a diverse range of media from in-store marketing activity, packaging updates through to digital and social media marketing campaigns
  • Passionate and people-focussed, able to build relationships quickly and excite others with your natural passion and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent project management skills – able to manage multiple stakeholders to deliver a great result
  • Dynamic and effective, able to prioritise quickly in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
  • Good negotiating skills and persistence despite obstacles
  • Strong problem solving skills - a blend of brave, gutsy creative brainpower and practical attitude.
  • You have amazing ideas but can also foresee what will work best in execution
  • An attention to detail, and the confidence to work independently.
  • Language skills are useful but not essential - a basic understanding of Dutch, French, German or Nordic languages
