Our Client:

The company, based in Bournemouth, specialise in providing accountancy solutions for Limited Company contractors and freelancers. Their ambition has always been to deliver excellent service through excellent people. They are now seeking a Marketing Manager.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for driving marketing strategies forward in a high energy and fast paced business. You will be a commercially aware marketer, keen to take responsibility for developing marketing objectives and strategies across a range of predominantly digital channels.

A significant amount of the role will be coordinating multi-channel campaigns, reporting on and improving digital marketing performance, and producing new content for the website. You will lead and mentor a Senior Marketing Executive and show off your marketing expertise at both a strategic and tactical level.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and co­ordinate all internal marketing efforts across digital channels including web, email marketing, online advertising, social media and PR.
* Manage and support third party agency to ensure that PPC spend is efficient and generating suitable leads.
* Build trust and relationships with other suppliers and partners to continually improve marketing activity and take advantage of new opportunities and insights.
* Ensure the company's web presence is kept up to date with a focus on Search Engine Optimisation. An agency will support you with the technical aspects of SEO, but you will head up day to day SEO efforts to ensure that the site is well optimised.
* Monitor, analyse and report on all marketing metrics and return on investment.
* Confidently communicate marketing metrics and strategy with all levels of the business, including the directors.
* Under the guidance of the Managing Director, develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products within a marketing calendar.
* Line management of the Senior Marketing Executive, particularly to offer feedback on marketing materials and collaborate on ideas.
* Work with the Senior Marketing Executive to support the company's content strategy, as there is a strong focus on providing up to date blogs, campaign content and guides to both clients and prospective clients. You will need to proofread and edit copy for the company's website and third party sites, ensuring that all content fits the brand tone of voice.
* Take responsibility for the company's engagement strategies to increase the number of relevant inbound leads.
* Be aware of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information, as well as industry best practice.
* Determine and manage the marketing budget, and deliver marketing activity within the agreed budget
* As well as these regular responsibilities, you will have opportunity to progress in specialist projects.

Key Requirements:

* A business or Marketing related degree or professional qualification is desirable.
* Experience in all aspects of developing, managing and delivering marketing strategies and tactics.
* Proven experience in customer and market research, and informing your strategy with these insights.
* Experience of utilising CMS (preferably WordPress), email marketing systems, CRM and Google Analytics. Other tools as required e.g. SurveyMonkey.
* Industry knowledge desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

The role will suit a well-rounded and detail-focused Marketing Manager who is looking to hit the ground running and enjoy autonomy in the role. You will receive full support from the directors to understand the industry and the business' objectives, and you will be passionate about aligning the marketing team's goals and results accordingly. You will be confident and fluent when reporting on all manner of marketing metrics, with a keen eye on current digital marketing trends and how best to respond to them.

You will need sound communication skills and good organisational abilities, and the role would suit an individual who enjoys engaging with colleagues across the business. Attention to detail and accuracy are important as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
