My client is an online shopping partner to a number of market-leading online shopping and ecommerce brands, providing a simple and convenient solution to parcel delivery to today's busy shopper!

Social media and PR are key to engaging with the customer base, promoting trends and styles, advising on best fashion and beauty buys. The business works in partnership with many well-loved fashion bloggers and a portfolio of exciting fashion, beauty and home-style brands.

The Social Content and PR Manager will develop and implement social content strategy, further promoting brand awareness and grow social engagement. The core focus of the role will be towards social media, but the successful candidate will also have worked in a related PR role, in order to successfully manage PR strategy.

About the role…

-Ownership, development and implementation of social and content strategy and budget, including blogger engagement, retail partnerships, content creation, media planning, implementation and reporting.

-Working with internal marketing team and external agencies to ensure synergy across all marketing channels.

-Managing and developing social media networking sites and forums and engaging in dialogue with followers.

-Working alongside the appointed media agency to identify key target groups for promotion campaigns, agreeing content and media plans in line with budget. This will include all related measurement and reporting.

-Working alongside the customer support team, helping them to engage with customers in social forums in a positive and professional manner. Reviewing social media output to ensure consistency with brand identity and tone of voice.

-Producing monthly reports and presenting analysis of campaigns, social media activity and trends to all stakeholders.

-Encourage adoption of relevant social media techniques into the company across all products and services.

-Managing the development and implementation of proactive PR strategy for both corporate and consumer audience and managing the PR agency relationship.

-Developing and implementing quarterly PR plans across B2B, trade and national consumer titles.

-Reporting and analysis on all PR activity assessing its contribution to the wider marketing strategy and brand targets.

-Managing campaign and promotional budgets to support PR and online campaigns.

About you…

-Clear experience gained either client or agency side of developing and implementing cutting-edge social media and PR campaigns for both commercial and brand benefit- ideally within an emerging brand or retailer.

-A can-do approach to getting things done. You will be highly organised, expert in social media tactics and techniques, including blogger relations, community management, digital/content creation/curation, digital optimization, editorial, promotions, events, etc.

-Strong creative flair when developing social content, including video, photo, infographic and written.

-External PR agency management experience and ability to develop and manage PR campaigns.

-Plenty of spark and energy! You will be a confident communicator with common sense and will be able to communicate your ideas in a clear and compelling manner.

-Able to work with little direct supervision - a self-starter.

-A passion for fashion, eye for trend and an understanding of what makes the client audience tick!
