An exciting opening for an eight-month maternity cover assignment for a Head of Marketing to join a global payments business.

In this role, you will work closely with senior marketing leaders to ensure that EMEA Marketing - an energetic, diverse team based across 10 countries delivering marketing programs in more than 100 markets and 15 languages - progresses on time and on budget to deliver results for the EMEA business.

Core responsibilities:

* Work closely with the VP Consumer and EMEA marketing leads to continuously evaluate market challenges, priorities and plans, proposing alternatives to more effectively put the customer first

* Collaborate closely with counterparts in Finance, Market Research, and Marketing Analytics to generate insights leading to proposed efficiencies in resource allocation, marketing investment strategy and approach

* Drive planning for the marketing team, collaborating closely with the finance team on budget and target setting and with our regional teams to identify and mitigate risks and dependencies

* Contribute to the development and updates of annual operating plans and long range strategic plans

* Define and implement a reporting and monitoring framework that will provide Marketing leadership with up to date view of performance of all live activities on an ongoing basis

* Produce regular reporting on key marketing performance metrics in collaboration with FP&A and Marketing Analytics. Follow progression monthly and deep dive into areas of interest

* Evaluate existing business processes and recommend improvements, refining these on an ongoing basis to ensure efficiency for marketers and compliance with relevant EU / Luxembourg regulations

* Lead special projects as required to develop and implement EMEA marketing strategy

Essential Requirements:

* Education: BA or BS or equivalent required, MBA or equivalent preferred

* Experience: 10+ years experience gained in a position such as a Project Manager, Strategy Consultant, Management Consultant, Marketing Operations Manager, Sales or Marketing Planner, Financial Analyst, or similar.

* Experience to have included strategic planning, project management, business analysis, process optimization.
