Marketing Advisor - Corporate Finance and Private Equity

£30,000 - £38,000 per annum

A global leader in the accountancy and business advisory space is currently looking to appoint a B2B Marketing Advisor to deliver marketing and sales strategies alongside the Business Development Manager. You will play an influential role as a member of the wider marketing team, with the opportunity to deliver on national marketing initiatives relating to corporate finance and private equity.

This role will be split 70:30 in favour of corporate finance, with the main streams being M&A and transactional services. The private equity service is a newly launched initiative, and will offer the successful person the possibility to contribute to new product launches and put their creative mark on the role.

Due to the scale of the organisation and scope of the work, this will be a fast-paced and all-encompassing role - not for the faint hearted! Key responsibilities:

-Working closely with the marketing and business development manager to develop and implement campaigns and activity with a specific focus on corporate finance.

-Driving the implementation of a range of events, communications and marketing activities, proposing and developing new campaigns, events and thought leadership to meet these objectives.

-Increasing the measurable effectiveness of campaigns and channels used, making the best use of new and evolving techniques available.

-Demonstrating expert knowledge and use of CRM systems and championing its use in the organisation.

-Ensuring clients and contacts engaged with the campaign are captured and followed up by the business.

-Measuring campaigns effectiveness against objectives.

-Liaising closely with digital and media teams.

-Advising internal business support teams to ensure brand communication consistency.

The successful candidate:

-Will ideally have a CIM diploma, or similar, marketing-related accreditation - or will be working towards this.

Required skills and experience:

-3-5 years' experience in marketing within professional services or corporate financial services.

-Experience within event management.

-Experience in digital marketing communications, including the use of social media.

-Project management skills and the ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects.

-Proven experience in using CRM systems as a key part of the marketing framework.

-Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude and "get-things-done" approach.

-Attributes of team-working, excellent written and verbal communications, and detail orientation.
