A leading global legal firm has an opportunity for a Business Development Executive (Trade & Employment) to join its team. The role will be responsible for the implementation of sector business development strategies and campaigns under the direction of a Business Development Manager, ensuring effective, high-quality and timely delivery. This will involve establishing productive relationships across the Business Development Department as well as with partners, lawyers and other business services teams.

You will be required to assist in the implementation of sector business development strategies and their resulting activities including attending meetings, keeping a record of actions agreed and assisting the Business Development Manager achieve progress. The Business Development Executive (Trade & Employment) will be responsible for the drafting and production of sector marketing materials, organising internally and externally hosted events in partnership with in-house event organisers and assisting in the drafting, preparation and production of client pitch documents and other capability materials. The role holder will also research relevant market segments and clients and prospects, manage client information and the compilation of data, update sector web pages and produce other e-communications, assist in the production of directory submissions and manage sector data in the firm's Interaction CRM system.

You must be educated to degree level and have experience of working as a Business Development practitioner within a fast-paced professional services environment, preferably within the legal industry. The Business Development Executive (Trade & Employment) will have marketing communications experience, good copy writing skills and an understanding of branding and design and the production of promotional materials. Strong IT skills with experience of CRM systems are a must, as are strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities within tight timescales.
