Are you a strategist and strong thinker but also someone who embraces implementation and making things happen?  Do you have the ability to build and manage a future team?  And importantly, do you understand the emotion of football and the football psyche?  If so, this newly created position might be exactly what you are looking for!

The Head of Marketing will increase participation into small sided 5, 6 and 7 a-side football taking place in privately owned and managed sites across the country.  This will require a promotion of the health benefits and social aspect of taking part for everyone - men, women and children, at a friendly competitive level, a corporate event or children’s party.   

Our client is a long established football operations brand, particularly in small sided 5, 6 and 7-a-side but more and more across all formats of the game.  Fully accredited by the FA, partners and customers include the FA, the EFL, the Premier League, numerous professional and amateur football clubs, coaching organisations, education based companies and millions of social football visitors each year.

Professional experience/skills required:

  • An exceptional marketer who has been classically trained, has a clear and demonstrable track record in both the strategic process and the delivery of brand and product management plans.
  • Currently working in the Premier League of brands but wants to make a move into the world of sport and in particular, football.
  • Digital marketing strategy and implementation underpinned by CRM.
  • Multi-site retail or leisure consumer marketing.
  • Campaign management.
  • Product development and segmentation delivery.
  • Brand partnerships and joint marketing campaigns.
