One of the leading global, financial services solutions, data and research providers is seeking a Senior Director to join the London office, with a view to establish and develop new and pre-existing relationships within their private equity and capital markets portfolios.

The role is a senior position within the firm's strategic relationship management team, with the key objective to generate new mandates, with a focus on private equity partnerships. This will be achieved through targeted marketing and high level account management.

You will focus on the team's efforts to raise both the firm's presence and profile, directed at capital markets and professionals working within the private equity arena.

Key responsibilities:

* Develop and outline a strategy in client targeting
* Maintain sector expertise in private equity and corporate debt markets
* Appropriately designing marketing strategies which will differentiate the business from their competitors
* Take lead in developing sector specific proposals in preparation for high level commercial meetings
* Act as key point of contact for all queries, senior management reporting and CRM
* Be the market leader - research, keep abreast of industry trends, maintaining the ability to disseminate appropriate content to your relevant market

Your experience:

* MUST have relevant experience in a similar sales role in a financial services institution, ideally investment banking or asset management
* IDEALLY sector specific experience, in private equity, leveraged finance, M&A or financial sponsorship
* A good understanding of corporate debt deals
* Analytical in approach
* Knowledge in Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters or FI providers advantageous
* Excellent academics, ideally MBA/CFA qualified
