£60k + package

The UK Consumer & Market Insights team play a strategic consultant role within our global food client, challenging current thinking and pro-actively moving the business forward and inspiring profitable growth.  There is increasing importance put on excellent external environmental understanding and the Business Insights Manager is a critical role to ensure that a comprehensive market, consumer, customer and competitor understanding is driven into all aspects of strategy and brand plans.  This role is responsible for the pro-active management and use of all Continuous Market Research information, and the Business Insights Manager will also have contact and influence across a number of other functions such as Marketing, R&D, MS&P, Category Development, Shopper Marketing and Finance.

We are looking for:

  • A continuous research expert – likely starting career with a syndicated agency side followed up with client side experience.
  • Somoene with strong communication skills and the ability to present sophisticated analysis, with clarity, to all levels both internally and externally.
  • A data expert across Retail Measurement and Consumer Panel sources.
  • Someone highly analyical.
  • A strategic thinker and planner.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills and an enthusiastic, engaging approach.
  • UK FMCG experience strongly preferred.
