To manage the development of individual bids from start to finish, including co-ordinating and managing internal deadlines, documentation, estimating and Bid production, ensuring they are completed in a timely and effective manner.

* Managing tender responses, delivering bids in line with the company's best practice procedures and management processes

* Follow the bid process and ensure required stages and reviews are completed

* Ensure tenders and executive summaries are customer focused and benefits led

* Promote and use capture information to create compelling tenders

* To support with the maintenance, implementation and review of bidding tools such as the bid library

* To maintain the security and confidential status of all information so designated; to conduct all activities in a professional manner at all times

* To liaise with Subject Matter experts across the business to ensure bespoke bids are submitted to meet the clients requirements

* To challenge the solution development with the bid modelling and operational teams

* To support the risk management and commercial negotiations where required

* To support the development of sales presentation

* Ensure bid feedback is collated and analysed where appropriate.

* Ensure responses are reviewed before submission by an independent reviewer

* Coordinate bid production through graphic designers and print services



* Experienced Bid Manager

* A high level of IT skills in Word, powerpoint and In-Design

* The ability to influence at a senior level and manage internal politics

* Ability to challenge colleagues and ensure appropriate responses are secured from the SMEs.

* A high level of written English and bid writing skills

* An excellent communicator

* Proactive approach to continuous improvement

* Good planning and organisational skills

* Diligence and attention to detail

* Ability to work with large, complex teams

* Ability to manage multiple projects

* Creative approach and ability to develop innovative solutions

* Experience of managing complex IFM bids in public and private sectors

* Experience of working a fast moving bid team environment

* Team player - supporting wider bid team workload

* Good market knowledge

Job Offer

Client is offering a pro-rata'd salary at around £40,000 per annum. There is also flexible working offered.
