Our client is a growing online business. They have developed and produced a unique range of supportive maternity fitness wear, empowering women to stay active with style and confidence throughout pregnancy and the early postnatal years. Their ecommerce shop is supported by a comprehensive and informative website created to inspire, motivate and encourage women to enjoy a healthy active pregnancy.

Our client is looking for someone to join their small team in a newly created role.

This role supports the mission of the company and its marketing strategy.

Job Role

The Social Media Manager will develop and implement the Company's Social Media Strategy and provide Support across all Marketing initiatives

Social Media will be used to:

* develop brand awareness in the UK and internationally,
* grow audience and create a community
* generate inbound traffic and customer engagement
* drive sales

Other Responsibilities

* Planning and setting campaign goals around business strategy
* Content creation and management across all relevant social platforms
* Developing engaging imagery
* Outreach to sites for articles and promotion
* Supporting other areas of the business where needed
* Help enhance our reputation and awareness across all social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest
* Develop campaigns to support business strategy
* Monitor and manage social media campaigns, encouraging conversation and creating a community for active pregnant and postnatal women.
* Track and measure the success of any campaigns undertaken
* Keep up-to-date with current trends and updates and develop ideas and concepts for each platform and in health and fitness
* Manage a blogger / article outreach programme to build brand ambassador campaigns and increase reach

The Candidate

* In depth knowledge and understanding of different social media platforms and their respective participants and how they can be used to achieve different business goals
* Be skilled at writing engaging copy
* Be both analytical and creative
* Have some ability for creating images - photoshop or other tools
* Be adapt at tracking and measuring metrics and KPI's
* Excellent organisational skills and able to multi task. Will be flexible and agile in approach
* Good technical understanding and able to pick up new tools quickly
* Understand how social media can contribute to a company's success and growth
* Understanding of digital landscape and changing trends
* Team player, with the ability to take a brief and independently develop campaign ideas
* Previous experience working on social media campaign / in marketing roles / community management an advantage
* Graduate calibre
