Your new role
As Editor you will be part of the Creative Services, reporting to the Senior Editor. You will need to be strongly audience focused, working under pressure within a fluid and challenging environment to produce outputs to tight timelines. As Editor will need to work closely with other creative professionals within the wider Creative Services team, specifically Designers and the Senior Editor. As Editor you will develop and deliver high-quality written communications and editorial guidance to teams and individuals across the organisation, supporting them to achieve their goals. Key accountabilities include: Draft, edit and proof read a wide range of written materials; Provide editorial guidance to, and liaise with, internal clients across the organisation; Review document drafts at a variety of stages to ensure consistency, appropriate style, tone of voice and accuracy in adherence to templates and branding guidelines; Carry out thorough and accurate proofing; Prepare documents for publication online and in print and build a good understanding of the business and its wide range of internal and external audiences.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful Editor will have excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills - able to translate complex technical messages and ideas into strong written copy for a variety of different readerships. You will be a Professionally experienced and skilled writer, editor and proof reader within an editorial team. As Editor you will have demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the creative processes and media, as well as technical knowledge of software commonly used in creative and design processes, specifically Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. As Editor you will have strong communication skills and able to engage and negotiate/gain agreement/buy in with colleagues and other teams. You will also have demonstrable experience of organising and managing complex projects and production schedules to strict timelines and demanding targets/objectives.

What you'll get in return
My client is offering a rate of £240-£280 per day.
