Product and Service Category Manager job in Knowsley for a growing Social Enterprise business

As a result of their continued growth, First Ark Group is now seeking a Product and Service Category Manager to join their team, based in Knowsley, on a permanent basis.

Your new role
As a multi-skilled, commercially focussed manager, you will take the lead on the development and implementation of new products and services with partners to support the Groups offering. You will be responsible for transforming First Ark Group's services and identifying new opportunities to enhance the service offering while enabling the achievement of objectives as a 'business with a social purpose'. Your role will be to introduce B2B and B2C products and services in line with the existing company brands, that are both profitable and sustainable as well as to manage existing commercial partnerships to leverage commercial and social return. You will be expected to develop and present business cases detailing forecast volumes, pricing, and risk, as well as managing approved business cases to successful launch. As such you will work closely with the wider marketing team and other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery as well as liaising with key stakeholders. You will also measure and report on success post-launch and return on investment.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you must have an entrepreneurial approach alongside previous commercial experience of developing partnerships and identifying opportunities to develop new products and services. You will have a strong a track record of delivery on the introduction to market of new products or services with proven results including reporting on ROI. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of product or service marketing, with the ability to provide market analysis. You will be a competent and resilient negotiator who also has experience of developing processes to implement new services. You must also be able to develop strong inter-group relationships to become respected as an adviser in delivering strong and comprehensive recommendations.
