This maternity cover contract will see the European Marketing Manager responsible for initiating the development of product and marketing strategies at a European level, developing full European marketing plans, tactics and assets for an entire category within our industry leading Toy client. 

The European Marketing Manager will work closely with global brand teams and local marketing teams to support marketing and category action plans, ensuring all are strategically aligned.  They will monitor and review brand performance and manage both the A&P budget and category P&L.  This role requires proven leadership and communication skills given the European Marketing Manager will lead both the relationship with key strategic partners, (including Warner Bros, WWE and Universal), and a marketing team of 3.

Essential candidate requirements:

  • Significant commercial/marketing experience at a similar level within the Toy, FMCG or licensed consumer goods industry.
  • Strong leadership capability and proven team management skills.
  • Licensee and licensor experience.
  • Experience working across different markets and cultural sensitivity.
  • Solid financial acumen and experience using financial information to make strong decisions.
  • The ability to influence effectively at different levels within the organisation.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
