As Marketing Manager you are responsible for the development and implementation of strategic new product development, brand awareness, consumer activation strategies and communication/advertising plans for the entire Brand Portfolio in the UK. You will leverage your marketing team by creating a forward thinking innovative environment and culture with true ownership and accountability.

As Marketing Manager you will be leading a team whilst being resposible for the development and implementation of the 3 year strategic Long Range Plan, including category, marketing and brand activation plans on yearly basis with clear new product development objectives, marketing strategy, target consumers, brand positioning and advertising calendar in alignment with and commitment from all key stakeholders.

You will champion the development of ATL materials and media strategies with creative and media agencies for a clear, creative, on-strategy, consistent and maximum cut-through branding with high impact, consistency and sustainability. You will be responsible for the marketing budget and growth of the gross margin and contribution margin of the brands.

As Marketing Manager you will build relationship and partnership with internal and external business partners for a clear and consistent understanding of our company's direction, NPD agenda and category, marketing and brand strategy.

You will lead, coach and mentor the marketing team members with clear, upfront agreed KPI's and quarterly performance review for a motivating and inspiring people development.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:

* MS Degree in business, marketing specialty preferred
* Proven track record of at least 10 years in product/brand management within UK FMCG;
* Strong experience in the creative and production process, design and implementation and R&D
* Advanced knowledge of brand building, media buying, (on-line) advertising and communication development and strategies.
* Ability to analyse and interpret market research providing guidance to the marketing team.
* Effective interpersonal communication and consultative skills, both verbal and written
* Pragmatic and action-oriented attitude, ability to translate business needs into solutions
* Ability to work under pressure, think quickly and demonstrate initiative in solving problems;
* Strong results focus
* Strong analytical skills
* Proven supervisory and people development skills
* Entrepreneurial and business driven mind-set
