The Corporate Partnerships Executive is responsible for developing commercial initiatives and generating income to support the planned growth of the organisation.



Reporting to the Corporate Partnerships Manager, the role involves assisting in the management of corporate partners, identifying and developing new commercial opportunities, through e-marketing and other methods.

The client is a national based charity based in West Yorkshire.


Description

* Proactively source and develop new partnerships that are consistent with the organisations policy that will benefit the organisation and whose business aims meet the needs of its members



* To develop and sell commercial opportunities across a broad range of activities including events, conferences, awards, membership magazine advertising, web and online

* Work with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to prepare and implement action plans to generate new income - tasks will include telesales, email marketing, marketing research, maintaining database and evaluation

* Qualify inbound enquiries, ascertaining opportunities, carrying out due diligence checks and suggesting appropriate course of action

* Assist in the development of client proposals



* Maximise opportunities for organisations annual conference and awards, member magazine and campaigns
* Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to schedule and deliver clients' marketing activity Any other duties reasonably requested by line management and commensurate with the post.


Profile

The ideal candidate will come from a fundraising background and previously developed corporate relationships and have the following experience:

- A degree in marketing or equivalent qualification e.g. CIM

- Outstanding communication skills - both written and oral, including good presentation skills

- Strong fundraising and business development

- Proven ability to build and manage strong customer relationships

- Desire to hit and exceed revenue targets

- Can work independently using own initiative whilst working as part of a team and across departments

- Strong influencing and negotiation skills

- Positive attitude

- Gives excellent customer service


Job Offer

12 month contract with 22.5 hours a week with a salary paying up to £24k pro rata.
