Marketing Manager GB & Europe – Major OTC Brand 
£65K-£70K + Car Allowance + Bonus

A robust background in OTC healthcare (analgesics, gastro, cough/cold etc) or perhaps in personal care, is essential for this challenging opportunity leading the UK and Northern European strategy for a global priority brand with significant growth potential.  A highly visible role within this consumer healthcare business where brand building and innovation is the priority, you will lead the development of a robust brand growth strategy in what is a complex and congested category with major share-steal and penetration growth opportunities.  Your remit will include full P&L responsibility for GB & Ireland, and you will work with the global team to develop strategic, innovation and communications toolkits for delivery to multiple markets.

Our Ideal Candidate

Drive, energy, intellect, commercial savvy and strong strategic thinking skills are all key for this role.  You will have a strong academic background combined with a rigorous brand training gained in blue-chip OTC, personal care or another FMCG category, ideally with hands-on experience of local, regional and ideally global markets.  You will have extensive comms experience spanning ATL, digital and shopper techniques, together with a track record of leading NPD initiatives.  Financially astute with experience if running P&L’s and budgets, you will be self-sufficient with the ability to manage a significant workload and take sometimes bold decisions.  Gravitas and presence with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills are a must in this role, possibly with some people management experience too.
