Newmedica has been providing NHS services for over a decade, pioneering innovative and effective ways of delivering specialist eyecare services. In late 2016 Newmedica received the investment and backing of Specsavers, the world’s largest privately-owned optical group. As part of our significant expansion plans, we have a new opportunity for a Senior Marketing Manager to focus on the Newmedica business with the support and backing of the wider Specsavers Group.

Reporting into a highly experienced Marketing Director in this full mix role, you will lead the development of Newmedica brand and using consumer insight, to create impactful marketing campaigns and business to business programs.

The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of local strategic marketing plans for Newmedica Ophthalmic Joint Ventures (OJV) around the country. You will have responsibility for the planning, implementation and analysis of consumer-facing marketing plans in addition to developing our Business to Business plans. 

This includes communicating with our Joint Venture Partners to explain marketing plans, briefing agencies, directing creative briefs and evaluating media proposals, and appraising creative work, post campaign analysis and budget management, in addition to working cross-functionally with other colleagues in order to deliver your plans.

You will have significant experience in Business to Business Marketing and some exposure to Direct to Consumer marketing is desirable. Proven experience in creating marketing plans and executing annual brand plans. Excellent communication and presentation skills

You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills. Delivering high quality customer service to our Joint Venture Partners is paramount, and as such you will need to be confident in communicating to teams across all levels with a proven ability to get things done. You have proven experience in managing marketing campaigns and be able to demonstrate a history of working independently, ideally within a healthcare environment.
