Our client is a well established and recognised market leading wholesaler supplying almost18,000 technical products per day to the trade. This £Multi-Million T/O, Private Equity backed company is going through an exciting period of change and they currently seek to appoint a talented and experienced Marketing Manager to significantly develop their established own brand range.
Reporting to the Marketing Director you will take full responsibility for developing and executing the own brand marketing plan, ensuring that quality, pricing and packaging are enhanced and that growth in sales, profitability and market share is delivered.
You will develop a full set of guidelines that ensure consistent application and presentation of the own brand range.
Produce an on-going competitor review document that presents competitors range and brand activity.
Undertake reviews and analysis of current product performance, market conditions and customer feedback to creatively lead the New Product Development strategy across the range.
Develop and maintain the own brand website, creating an engaging online portal that supports the brand for the end user.
Liaise with other internal stakeholders including buying, marketing and sales to ensure that the own brand range delivers against the company’s long term strategic business plan.
You will have at least 5 years own brand marketing experience preferably within a high volume multi product environment, or from an industry that sells via a reseller channel. Commercially astute and highly customer focussed you will be creative, a strong influencer and communicator and possess the desire to succeed in this hands on and high profile role.
