The RCN is the largest professional organisation and trade union for nurses in the UK. The marketing team are continually developing the membership offer to maintain our position as market leader, providing the opportunity to work on a number of wide and varied projects with colleagues from across the UK.

As the Marketing Co-ordinator you will be required to plan and organise exhibition stands which promote the work of the RCN, booking and arranging exhibition space, organising logistics, attending events and evaluating their effectiveness.

Working with the student marketing lead you will co-ordinate a national programme of recruitment events, liaising with RCN regions and countries, identifying staff to attend, organising incentives, analysing performance and producing management reports.

You will also co-ordinate the RCN’s national advertising schedule that supports marketing plans, including identifying appropriate media channels for each target market, booking space and organising artwork delivery on time and to specification.

In addition, the Marketing Coordinator will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of marketing campaigns and gain experience of leading a campaign.

The Person
To succeed in this role, you’ll be highly personable with the ability to develop and maintain productive working partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders

You’ll be highly organised and able to manage a busy and varied workload from multiple sources with competing, tight deadlines.

You will need marketing experience including coordinating offline and online mailing campaigns, budget management and production activity schedules.

Experience of working within a marketing team as part of a membership/not for profit organisation would be an advantage.

This marketing role is varied and forms a vital part of the busy marketing team; the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in many projects and campaigns working with a diverse range of people across the whole organisation.
